LIARS!!!, to be honest I didn’t like their Drum’s Not Dead album (in fact I only listened once and didn’t give another chance) but this year I heard their last record Liars and I started to punch myself for being such an ass with this band… now I’m a Liars fan for death… dum dum dum dum.
At bottom you’ll find MP3 from BBC Collective performance, I don’t think is the full concert, but at least the availables.

Levante la mano quien no le guste Liars, en realidad a mi no me gustó mucho su disco anterior Drum’s Not Dead (en realidad lo escuché una sola vez y no le di más oportunidad), por lo que el último Liars no tenía el mínimo interés en escucharlo…. por cosas del destino lo escuché y empecé a golpearme por haberlos renegado en su momento…. ahora LIARS para todos!!!

As I said in the last post, this week I have in high rotation Sonic Youth’s Dirty album, one of my favorite songs is Nic Fit because it’s fast, efective, violent and you won’t understand it if your first language is not english (that was my case), but still is a great song. However, it’s not a Sonic Youth song, the original one is from deceased punk band Untouchables. (mp3 at bottom)…. nic fit nic fit nic fit nic fit nic fit…..

Como dije en el post anterior tengo una fiebre con el Dirty de Sonic Youth esta semana, una de las canciones que me agrada por su particularidad es Nic Fit, rápida, efectiva, violenta y ciertamente inentendible para alguien que su lengua principal no sea el inglés (ese fue mi caso), pero no por eso deja de ser una joya. Sin embargo no es original de Sonic Youth sino de la desaparecida banda punk Untouchables………. nic fit nic fit nic fit nic fit nic fit…

Sometimes I forget how much I like Sonic Youth, this week I had in high rotation the Dry album and suddenly (while I was rocking with Nic Fit) I thought that a cover post would be nice. I started to search and I found a lot, but I stopped it because I think this page has a looot of information about Sonic Youth covers. Enjoy it.
